It was a great day when you came
Into our lives that day
It was a special moment when
I first did hear you say:

'I am the child that you did have
And I am glad you chose
To have me and I want to say
For parents you are those
That no one else has ever had
Any better any where
And on this day dear Mom and Dad
I'm glad that you're right here'

For birthday's are like fireworks
They sparkle and they leave
But you are like a golden fleece
Of closely knitted weave
So this is why we celebrate
Our offspring in this way
We all are knit together
And it is your BIRTHDAY.
