Tears of a Vampire by Dreams

Head bowed, eyes closed, hands clasped
Slumped on his favorite blood red chair
This night, a slow sad song plays
Singing promised eternity to his soul

Crimson tears flowed from eyes of a stark blue
The mischievous gleam that sparks his death is gone
Many years have passed, leaving his loneliness bare
The pale ghostly-like face marks a beauty so rare
That no one would deny the pleasure he could share

Now, a thousand year has passed
Eyes like that of midnight blue still speaks of secrecy none can ever reach
The ache in him has never been satisfied
Not till the day his heart finally found a reason to beat
Finally, he could wake to these warm sweet arms of hers

Now, as the music continues to play through this silence
The night's pleasure seems so far out of reach
Ruler of the dark, how godly he has been
Freedom is never an issued; he lives through blood and fear.
He is the hunter of the dark, whom mortals fled at sight

Ruthless he may seem, the terror of the dark
But few has known this hidden cache within him
The part where she has touched, soothed, kissed and felt
Deep in his living soul, buried a love once breathe
Surpassing his cold, hideous cruelty, where he slays brutally

Feel, he has learned to feel, learned to live, and learned to love
From this cold and lifeless body, now lying serenely on the ground
Her heart is now waiting, seeking for time to conceal her soul
She's waiting for this river of crimson tears to stop flowing
For this never-ending pain to stop tearing at his heart

Sorrows filled his fearless mind, overflowing it with waves and waves of agony
Driving his sanity to its edge, pushing his eternity to its end
Hanging on to this cold, frozen memories of what they've used to be
This dark angel, who had once blessed the shadows of life
Felt his soul left, drifting off with this lost love, to it's grave
Where it'll forever be buried, till the day he has found the key to happiness once again

Thousand years of living, thousands years of breathing, he has finally drowned
In this ever-mysterious thing called love...
